Medical careers with Theodore Medical include Rural GP Registrars (basic and advanced) including Rural Generalist Pathway trainees.  As a highly procedural practice, doctors working with Theodore Medical are presented with all aspects of medicine including standard general practice, obstetrics, anaesthetics, surgery, radiography, aged care, Aboriginal health, emergency medicine, mine medicals, hospital practice with admitting rights from Theodore Medical the Theodore Hospital. Registrars may be eligible with appropriate credentialing to work as a Medical Officer with Right of Private Practice (MORRP)

Registrar pathways include training consortia such as Generalist Medical Training (GMT) based out of James Cook University (JCU) and Remote Vocational Training Scheme (RVTS). Both prepare for FACRRM and FRACGP.

Practice Nurses and Assistants in Nursing are an integral part of the medical services offered to patients of Theodore Medical. We employ one full time assistant in nursing position together with one full time equivalent practice nurse position. One part time position exists for a registered nurse with respect to chronic disease management and home visiting. A midwife is employed to assist with womens health. Other nurses are employed part time for other specific positions depending on demand.

Reception staff provide the operational side of the practice. Two full time receptionists are employed by Theodore Medical to assist with administration and appointments.

Aboriginal Health Workers are a Theodore Medical initiative in supporting Closing the Gap. Two part time positions exist to ensure all Aboriginal people are receiving appropriate health care.
